The story
Inspired by petroglyphs found in the Jebel Qurma region of Jordan's Black Desert, where ancient carvings depict a horse being ridden, possibly a young one. With its fine head, slender body and flowing tail, the figure speaks of the animal's importance in hunting or combat, and nearby inscriptions sometimes offer more clues to its role in the lives of those who once inhabited this harsh landscape.
